Winter = Snow
why do girls not realize that winter = snow. snow = cold. and cold = if you're wearing tank tops/shorts you look ridiculous? yesterday, i walked into school and WHABAM i got a shoulder flash. another thing about winter, you lose your tan. so even if it is 60 degrees outside one day, (remember how in summer if it got to be 60 degrees, we'd be wrapped in sweaters and not go outside?) you'd look pastey and see-through, so no. don't try. i'll be watching. i don't get what's wrong with a pair of nice *dark wash* jeans and sweater. or dress with tights. or skirts with tights. or yoga pants with shirt. wow, i just gave you four options.

Dude, I Love Rompers

No shirt, no pants. Me, I have a problems with choices. Pumpkin icecream, or pineapple pistachio? uuggh. That's why rompers work with me. This one that i found is from Modcloth.com. In the summer they're perfect for just tossing over a bathing suit or for a walk. In the winter, you can just wear them with leggings and a sweater or jacket. Perfectt.

An Expose of Lady Gaga
As recently admitted on the Oprah show, she prefers Gaga, not Lady Gaga. Much to formal. As a child, Gaga sang Michael Jackson and learned to play paino by ear at age four. In her private school in Manhattan (where she was joined with the likes of Paris Hilton!!) she was often teased for her eccentric style. However, she proved them wrong when she was one of 20 students to earn an early acceptance into the Tisch New York School of the Arts at age 17. She was soon writing songs for singers like the Pussycat Dolls. She's perform in nightclubs on the Lower East Side and became famous for her burlesque songs and pop beats. When her debut c.d, The Fame, debuted, it was instantly famous with over five songs hitting the Top 30. Stay tuned for more

Top Five Trends of 2010:

Over the Knee Boots:
I'm not going to get into the trend because I HATE IT. however, here is one celebrity who i think worked the look. Lady Gaga. Although she got a bit of a bad rap for these boots, i think that she looks good in whatever she wears. You've got to give her credit for not caring what people think. But now I've gotten of topic! Back to the list...

Chunky Knits:
I'm a fan of this trend! You can throw it on over jeans, shorts, tights, a baggy shirt or a tight shirt, a dress or a skirt. I found some really affordable ones at Forever 21 and Abercrombie and Fitch in different styles, even vests and hats.

Leather and Studs:
love lOvE LOVE. if you can avoid looking like a motorcyclist that is. But I also believe that this is a trend that's really versatile and you can have fun with it. At H&M, they're featuring a cobalt blue leather jacket. Everywhere you look there's brown, carmel (there's a difference!), black, and red jackets. There's even neon ones. My way to work this trend is by wearing leather gladiators/heels with studs. It's understated but makes a big statement.

Asymmetrical Shirts:
This is not a trend for everybody. In the words of Robin, "Jesus, just choose one! Either both shoulders or two. One is just not natural!" I'm sorry Robin, but I disagree. At the Golden Globes several stars rocked this trend. However, on a certain shopping excursion recently i tried on a one-shouldered dress. It sagged competely on one side! But kudos to those who can wear one, like my idol Michelle Obama.
Ripped Denim:
OH god. My personal favorite on this list, I think that ripped jeans are some of the best and versatile things you can have in a closet. For example, ripped skinny jeans with a blazer and ballet flats? Mmhhmmm. Ripped jeans can make an outfit preppy-chic, rocker-sweet, or many more adjectives.
first post!!
Not every girl in the world can afford Burberry, Chloe, and Dolce & Gabbana (just to name a few of my favorites). Working on a forty dollar budget, I could afford a hairclip...maybe. So where can we turn? Stores like Forever 21, H&M, Abercrombie, and others offer in style things at a budget that even I could afford. How great is that?
